The UndeRlyIng Path
The Underlying Path is a project that combines cycling and geocaching into a guidebook, offering an immersive journey through the serene paths of Changi.
The project is a blend of digital and handcrafted skills, encompassing typography, layout design, and illustration. It also features a hand-stitched leather casing and a hand-sewn fabric pouch, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.
The Activity Inserts
The guidebook features four activity routes, ranging from easiest to most challenging. Each route is accompanied by a dedicated activity insert.
These inserts provide key details, including the route's difficulty level, travel distance, and coordinates for the geocache.
The Tyre Manual
To complement the cycling concept, I included a tyre repair kit for emergencies.
The kit is housed in a hand-sewn fabric pouch, designed to securely hold the tyre repair manual and patch tool.
