NautIcal Travels
This project was created during the pandemic, a time when outdoor activities and travel, especially diving adventures, were severely limited. This inspired me to design a website centred around diving.
PROBLEM:
As a diver myself, I’ve often found the research and trip-planning process to be tedious, even though they are essential for smooth and safe travels. Typically, research is done on one platform while bookings are made on another, which can be inconvenient.
SOLUTION:
With this challenge in mind, I developed Nautical Travels, a website that streamlines the process by allowing users to conduct research and make bookings all in one place.
A LITTLE BACKGROUND
During my studies, we were given the opportunity to choose a specialisation to deepen our studies.
I selected UI/UX design, where I learned to design websites and gained a foundational understanding of CSS and HTML. This combination helped me better understand how to translate design concepts into functional code.
